If you get something really good you'll be up for way longer, by the time I went to bed in the early hours of Tuesday, light was coming through my window and birds were chirping. My mum asked why the hell she could hear me tossing and turning at 5am, she thought I was ill or something.

Same here, I just did not want to sleep, still not quite sure how I managed it.

I actually got up again at 7:30 to get a drink and briefly considered just staying up, but I decided that was just a little too early, so I rolled into a ball under my covers again and basically forced myself to sleep for another hour. And when I did get up for real I didn't even feel tired, I think I was still running on adrenaline.

It's amazing how far it carries you...until you reach around lunchtime/1pm and feel like you're going to collapse in a heap.

Well I didn't feel well, that was my excuse for that.
