I get my makeup from Sally's Beauty Supplies. I get Sally Girl.. Or some times i will get Cover Girl/Maybelline depending on whose buying it.. If it's me it's Sally Girl. I'm not one for makeup either. I also do like the "I love my" product line. I have I love my Lips and I love my Eyes for eye liner and mascara. I have I love my Lips for one tube of lipstick.

The way I do my face first is the Clean and Clear Shine Control:



Then I will do N.Y.C powder:



Then I'll do my foundation which is sometimes Almay, sometimes Revlon.. But it's been Revlon for awhile since my mum got too light of a colour for her, she gave me one she hadn't even opened. It's sort of like this one in Ivory Beige.



Then from there I will do the Clean and Clear again.

Then I blend in Femme Couture Minerals:

Femme Couture - Femme Couture Mineral Effects Pressed Makeup Fairly Light

I know it's all seemingly a lot, and some times it is, but I do such light layers of it, that it's barely noticeable with the first layer.

As for concealer I only do it on my eyes for eye shadow.

was curious about your impressions/brand opinion on FACE atelier cosmetics..

Was considering getting a sample of their foundation but want to know thoughts on the brand etc...

I understand its a Canadian brand, but want to know if its worth my trouble to try to get it....

i dont wear a lot of make up as it is, and use the foundation AS the concealer. so that's my first step (after moisturizing). i'll just dot it around where i need it (under my eyes or any blemishes etc) and then go from there.

real pain in the butt it is, i envy those who can look good au natural.

I have been looking at brushes lately... need a couple new ones and was wondering if anyone is using brushes from Sigma or Benefit? If so care to share your opinion?

I didn't... saw the swatches and didn't really 'love' anything....

The last 'beauty' purchase I made was a Butter London polish in "Lady Muck"... haven't tried it yet though...

As for brushes... I have a few I really like... but neither are Benefit or Sigma's... Are you looking for eye brushes or foundation or blush/powder etc?

Ohhh.... Butter London... haven't tried any of their polishes yet but have heard very good things about it. What are your fave nail polish brands? Mine are O.,P.I and China Glaze at the moment. They both just released their fall collections and I am eager to get some of the polishes.

Mac... hm, new le is out already. I might go for one of the lip bags and performance art but that's it. Need to have a look at swatches first though.

Which brushes do you like? My fave so far is a Mac blending brush... but they are always very expensive Wish it would be the case.

I was looking for a concealer brush Thanks for the link I'll check it out.

I like a lot of MAC's brushes... especially the ones you buy singly... I've purchased holiday sets before and had trouble with the foundation brush losing a significant amount of bristles... Don't know if the quality is up to par on those sets...


As for nail polishes... still hadn't gotten around to trying my Butter London polish... I had a couple break so just wanted to wait til the looked better overall before putting polish on them...

I'm really wanting to try a-england polishes... some of those are just gorgeous! (prismatic finishes)

I have heard that the holiday sets aren't up to their regular quality So far I have oly the 217, 222, 224 from Mac. I have a Benefit Kabuki which I wanna replace with the 182 from Mac. Gotta save up for that one first.

Did you look at the Mac Me Over Swatches online already?

I hope you'll get to try it soon. I saw swatches of the Butter London Fall collection and I am totally digging one of the polishes. Toff I'll have to see where I can order it online.

Oh, you already know about A-England. So cool... I looked at their collection about two weeks ago or so and I love the theme. Which one ahs sparked your interest?

I have looked at the swatches for the new MacMeOver stuff... Not sure if I'll 'bite' on any of them or not... The last thing I got from them was from the Bloggers Collection... It's just hard to judge from swatches sometimes what will work, isn't it?

I liked the Tundra shadestick.... though I'm more interested in trying the new brush (226, I think?)... I also am REALLY tempted by the new Fluidlines... Dark Envy and Midnight Blue! (http://www.temptalia.com/mac-me-over...photos-reviews)

As for Butter London... not sure if I've seen a swatch of Toff yet... will have to look... Knees Up is a hot color... I was tempted to buy Victoriana but didn't... Got Lady Muck (which I still NEED to try) instead...

Just discovered a-england recently... Haven't broken down and ordered yet though I was severely tempted... I like Tristam and Lady of the Lake... Also thought Iseult was pretty along with Morgan LeFay (for layering purposes)...

It is! I usually don't have time to drive to counter so I have to reley on swatches too. Depending on skine tone, lip pigmentation you get sooo different results... It's always hard to tell.

The 226 is the new one - it's a re-promote to be fair. I ordered it but Mac had difficulties and cancelled my order. I was really pissed.

Try Lady Muck and post a picture! I am always up for swatches! Let me find a Toff swatch for you ... here Not the best one but at least you get an idea. What do you think? It's by far my fave out of the fall collection.

I know Nordstrom (and their .com site) supposedly had stock of that brush you mentioned... I want to check it out in person first... Honestly I have a nice little one from Sonia Kashuk that I got at Target that does a great job at a far cheaper price... so until I need a new one I'm not in a rush
