oooh an Aussie Scary movie for release next year:

Wolf Creek:
THE STORY:

Based on true events, 'Wolf Creek' tells the chilling story of three backpackers travelling in remote Outback Australia. When their vehicle breaks down they accept help from a friendly local.

It soon dawns on them that he has no intention of fixing their vehicle, or of them leaving... ever again.

And it is based on true events!!!! Even better!

Hey do we still have the Aussie thread on the movie board??

Yeah it does! I am itching for a new scary movie - that is genuinely scary like the Ring and Blair Witch.

Is that because you got too scared?

Chris REFUSES to watch scary movies. he used to say it was because they are crap - but when we went to see Sixth Sense and that Katie Holmes/Keanu Reeves movie - the truth was revealed - HE IS A CHICKEN! He was so scared He said in a real little voice "You didn't tell me this was gonna be scary" And I was like "Huh? It isn't!!" And the truth came out! My boyfriend is a scardy cat!

Me too - blood and gore doesn't scare me. That is why I love The Ring and Blair Witch so much.

I'm not one for scary movies but I can't stop watching them. I'm kinda bummed that there isn't really a scary movie coming out at around Halloween, I reckon cinemas should show classic scary movies that night. They'd make tons of money and I think it'd be a great idea. I for one, would definitely do and watch say, Fridat the 13th or Halloween or Scream on Halloween night. My friends went and saw Freddy vs. Jason last Halloween and were scared *****less. Me, I stayed home and pulled out my Scream DVD. I love that movie, it really freaks me out, especially that opening scene with Drew Barrymore - when she's hanging from the tree, especially. Uggghhh.
