I liked that bit of rain we had - it was refreshing for once. BTW, that Ferry trip was organised by my Grandmother whose 80th Bday party was aboard it hence why I attended that trip and was very-bored. I mean so bored that all of us cousins/siblings/etc txt'ed amongst ourselves and transferred files via BlueTooth.
All of them can, usually can also upscale to some extent too. Some make the picture better, others worse. PS3 does very-basic upscaling and can not play PS2 games. Your PS3 is the 'only' thing in your house that is not backwards-compatible. Your DVD player can play CDs, your Wii can play GameCube game discs, Your Xbox 360 (if you had one) can play most original Xbox game discs, your BD player can play all DVDs and CDs & your PS3 can play NO PS2 game discs... Wii can play 100% of GameCube game discs, Xbox 360 can play 80% of Xbox discs, PS3 can play 0% of PS2 discs - that is a slap in the face to gamers. I have over 100 games each sometimes costing me $100 a pop to buy. They did that so that you'd have to re-buy them again as a download for the PS3 - No thank-you! I would rather do without a PS3 and use my old PS2 than have to buy the games I already own in pristine condition discs... If $ONY had some programme where I brought in my REAL PS2 games and they gave me a free voucher for the same game as a download onto my 'imaginary' PS3 then yes, it would be worth getting a PS3. AS it is, no way, no how. __________________
