Craig, FF has been a CPU hog for me too, I have to close it down every so often then restart FF. Not restart the computer, just FF. FF as in Fire Fox not FF as in .
Yeah I even tried the 3.6 beta with no change, waiting for 3.5.6 to see if it's better or if they fix the final release 3.6.

Wow if it took her that long to pass the test i still don't think i'd want her on the road.

And you know what sucks.....when you finish mowing the lawn and would love a cold beer but you don't have one

Got most of the new TV unit together and it looks good, still needs some work but depending how busy next is I could have it finished before the weekend.

hz (Hertz) is the refresh rate the screen does to reduce flicker. FPS (Frames Per Second.) The more frames per second, the better. 60hz or above is normal these days for tv sets for example. 50hz makes a flickering feel when you see the screen from an angle but monitors can do it while looking at them. Just set it high. My tv and monitor are set to 60hz. No flicker whatsoever.

Some newer ones are, and if you have the money you can get some at 200Hz for 'flicker free viewing' but I'm not sure if it's marketing hype, how much can the human eye detect?

60hz is enough, above that will not help really. Just as video that runs at 30fps is 'fluid' when you have some video that runs at 70fps that is stupid for our eyes can not see above 30fps anyway. 30fps is the max our eyes can see so going above that is pointless same with the hz, but if yours can go above 60hz then you might as well set it there. It will be an advantage for high-intensive videos with a lot going on, there will be less glitchiness.
