You need to have the recent version of FF and Download Helper plus choose the right settings. I prefer to just transcode it myself, it will keep the video at a better quality that I can control - Download Helper's .avi conversion is auto. __________________

I used firefox on USB, just running it of the USB as I couldn't install it at work.

I just downloaded a clip from YT, very simple! I had to convert it myself as I couldn't be bothered to figure out how to do it with FFMPEG or whatever they are saying to use. I don't need crystal clear video, as I only use them for icons etc.
