I scanned in some of my baby photos yesterday. I don't have that many, and about 10 are bad quality so I'm going to look up some tutorials and see if I can get them better

One of those Liberal ministers has asked people to stop emailing him about the daylight saving issue. He has been getting over 3000 a day in support of getting DST.

I mean really, it is only a short trial. We have been without it forever, what's 3 years to those who don't like the idea? Nothing really, because it will go back to non-DST anyway. WA has been one way for a loooong-time (non-DST) it is only fair to try DST for a bit. The non-DST'ers have had it their way for eons so 3 years with DST will not kill them... It is like a kid using a toy all day then all the next day and the day after that and the day after that and nearly all the next day then his mum says 'Let your brother play with it for a bit!' (for 1 hour at the end of the week he finally lets him play with the toy.) That is all, not too-much to ask. I think that just 3 months will convert those who are unsure what DST would be like into people who will say 'Why have we gone without DST for so long?'. They have had it their way for decades, it is unreasonable for them to expect to have things their way all the time and not let someone else have a turn doing things a different way, it is only 15 months DST total. Whereas Non-DST has been going on for a few hundred months...give someone else a turn at playing with the toy.

I have a question - if I take some photos or negatives to a photo shop can they put them on a disc for me????

I would think so as all they need to do is it to scan the photos into a computer and then burn them to a disc.

Awesome thanks! I am working on a photo collage for my dad's 50th, with photos from back in the day where there weren't digital cameras!
