Beautiful colours in a very, very, very white room.

I'm so sorry. The bars in the window of the other picture would drive me insane, but so would the fact that it practically looks uninhabited. Aside from that, I love the character of it.

But that's not on you, obviously.

Yeah the lines in the other window... I can see the unique appeal for others but I have a torrid love affair with uniform lines of repetition in architecture...

Symmetry and history defintely work for me better than modern and irregular. It's obviously not the way things are going, but that's just the way my tastes run.

I like natural materials, symmetry and lots and lots of colour. And storage. I find storage solutions SO sexy. And that's laughing not because I'm kidding, but because of just how true that is.

That sunken living room, brings up a flashback...My aunt, had a similar set up a long tme ago, I was like 5 years old and because I was little and probably not paying attention, I kept waking not realizing you had to walk down steps and crashed into a glass coffee table I get reminded of that story all the time when family gets together .
