Are you renting a condo or buying one? Because, if you own something, even in co-ownership, no one should have the right to prevent you from bringing in cats.

No just renting for now but these apartment have buildings for pet owners even though that’s rare.

Here, cats are usually allowed when you're renting. It's dogs that are not necessarily welcome.

It does seem weird to have that. Here everyone I know has cats or dogs. It would be hard to insist on that. I don't know much about renting though...

I mean, if most possible renters have pets, you're never gonna find someone suitable to rent your unit. And, let's face it, you need that to make a living, don't you?

Yeah the landlords always claim dogs or cats will damage the suite but I just paid a pet damage deposit to cover any “damage” my cat could do.

I’m just happy I got a nice new place that allows cats., that was one of my main concerns about finding a decent rental place for me!

Yeah, and now my car smells like gas from the air vents and its kind freaking me out. I'm picturing my car going on fire or me getting brain damage from the fumes in the car. I'm driving in the rain with my window down, hoping it helps!
