We were so jibbed of Taylor/Gabriella goodness, especially in HSM2. We got like, five seconds of that deleted scene in the DVD, I want the whole scene

I don't understand why it was deleted since that's the scene where Gabi changes her mind and goes back to Lava Springs. Without that scene, Gabi's return just doesn't make sense!

Exactly! Disney were aiming for the element of 'surprise' I guess; but come on, seriously, its Disney, you know its going to end happily. If we'd had that scene, I wouldn't have thought automatically 'she's gonna sing with him!' I would have thought 'oh, so is she going to talk to him after the show' or something like that.

I hate that we didn't get that scene!

It's always irritated me too, from my first viewing of HSM2 on August 17th, that they just have Gabriella show up to the show, walk down the aisle and extend her hand out to Troy as they meet before the stage. It's way too simple, and it wouldn't have killed anyone to keep five minutes or so of footage of Taylor speaking to Gabriella. *sigh*

It then kind of frustrates me that...okay.... so in the extended edition when they put in Humuhumu? I love that song, don't get me wrong. I love that we got it, I love Lucas in it, I'm the worlds biggest Troy/Zac fan so more of him is great. But in terms of plot and continuity, it was cut for a reason - it wasn't needed. And yet there are all these other scenes - i.e. the Taylor Gabriella scene - which would have rounded the plot a lot more, given more insight into Gabriella's motivations, the girls friendship, the fact that the Wildcats have forgiven Troy.
