Hey Wildcats!

So this month we have two important anniversary milestones coming up for this board:
four years since High School Musical 1 first aired on the Disney Channel in 2006;
as well as two years since the High School Musical board first opened here at Fan Forum.

Worth celebrating? We think so, and we bet the Wildcats do too!
What better time to put on your red & white and show your Wildcat pride!

What Team? Wildcats!

We want you - that's right, you, who is reading this message - to tell us how you think we can celebrate, and how we can find a way so that we can all contribute. No, we're not all artists. Have you seen my Paint artwork? But that doesn't mean that we don't all have our own talents and ways of expressing our love and dedication.

This fandom is diverse, and we come from all walks of life.
But what unites us all is a love for this film, the little film that could; and the magic that is
High School Musical.





So let's get our creative juices flowing, throw out those ideas and let's make sure that the Wildcats get the celebration they deserve!

• Tribute section to four years since HSM1
• Tribute to the original campaign here
• Character profiles - like written in first person from the future 'Here I am at Berkeley...'

This isn't me harassing Kelly to do art but more out of curiosity, if you felt the urge to do art aren't there like, trial PS programs you can download?

I kind of had an idea where we get all of our fangirls to write a little mini blurb (like, mini mini, a few lines) about when they first fell in love with HSM, or their initial reactions to it. And somehow incorporate that?

I really love the idea of us all writing a paragraph or two each explaining why we love HSM. I think that's a simple idea that everybody can contribute to and it will be special to each individual. Others can also contribute art etc. that they want to make. I think with the whole revamp thing; not everybody contributed as a lot of it was about art and such, but this is something that means a lot to every single one of us here and that's the most important thing.

Also, I'm no good with art, but I am with words, so I can help out for anything else in that area I'd really like to do something regarding Sharpay and Ryan

Grace why am I not surprised that you wanna do something for Sharpay and Ryan

Maybe if that's the way we want to do it, we could do like, character profiles or something? We could base it on the theme of college or something, write first person biographies from the characters about where they are in life? Keep it canon based, you know?

I also am glad that Grace and Tamy like my fan recollections idea. If we were going to do that, I was thinking, maybe we could get the original supporters list from the campaign thread and delegate out some PMing, just PM people, tell them we're celebrating and ask if they'd like to write a few lines about what they love about the series? That way anyone who wants to help out who isn't art oriented could have something to do?

Melissa was there anything in particular you were interested in helping out with?
