Hey guys! I wasn't sure where exactly to post this since I didn't want to mess up your lovely forum so I guess I'll just stick it here.
Since its about to be the ten year mark for the first high school musical being released I've been feeling a lot of nostalgia surrounding it and this, combined with the ridiculous amount of time between my university terms, is fueling the significant urge in me to write my first high school musical fan fiction surrounding the teenage kids of the original characters. Basically before I pour all my time and effort into this, since I want it to feel authentic and not haphazard and second rate, I was just curious as to whether or not there would even be anyone interested in reading something like this since I had a look around and many fics of this nature seem to go widely ignored- I'm not sure if this is because people just don't care for the characters or the writing or if they just genuinely dislike the 'second generation' troupe. I can promise you I have put a large amount of thought into this so I like to think it'd be an enjoyable experience. Anyway since you all obviously enjoy this fandom as much as I do I was just wondering if you thought there was a market for this kind of thing and if any of you would be interested in reading it, after all there's no point in creating something people don't care for. Feel free to be brutally honest and I'm terribly sorry if I have messed up your thread in anyway, I have no clue how fanforum works I made this account literally to ask you guys this. Thank you. |
