Thanks for the new thread Joyce!

No problem!

We really do need to think of titles sooner.

Less Than Perfect 10-09-2014 12:05 AM

Thinking of titles is far too time consuming.

I'm super tired and super hungry. If my father had just let me buy take away like I wanted one of these problems would be solved.

splintered 10-09-2014 06:30 AM

I asked for titles, but no one suggested anything.

Why didn't he leave you money then?

Ugh, I'm getting ill. :bawl:

I was meant to cook but couldn't be bothered so I asked if I could grab take away and he said he'd be home soon and would cook instead. It took him another hour to get home. :pout:

Ugh. :( I hope you did get a nice dinner in the end though!

Why am I suddenly stressing about my dissertation?

Why so early? We don't do dissertations here until graduate school.

splintered 10-12-2014 04:02 AM

We already have to do one to finish your bachelor's degree. I do know what area I want to do it in, but I have no specific subject and I don't know, I'm just kind of stressing about it.

begin again 10-12-2014 11:49 AM

Yeah, our bachelor's degrees here don't work like that

splintered 10-13-2014 12:48 AM

I feel like the USA is totally different from anywhere else. You'd think bachelor's degrees would work the same way everywhere, especially since the whole system was developed to work internationally.

Less Than Perfect 10-14-2014 12:01 AM

I didn't have to do a dissertation for my bachelor's either. I might not have finished if I had. :lmao:

I know we have international students come over and study to finish their Bachelor's degrees here.

splintered 10-15-2014 12:08 AM

Yeah, we have a lot of international students as well...

Maybe it's just an European thing then, because I do know that friends from Europe had to do a dissertation. :look:

Either way, I still don't know what I want to do. :lmao:
