I'm not sure how 'up' you are on how things work yet, but basically when a thread gets to 300 posts we have to make a new thread. So around like, say, 280, 290 posts normally you'll see the talk about coming up with titles for the new thread. It's sort of like, 'inappropriate' to run away and leave a thread hanging on like, 299 - it's like all the people who were around and posting at the time didn't want to have to bother making the new thread so they say things like 'not me!' and run away.
