I think many of you have probably seen this coming for a while now. High School Musical imprinted on my heart from the very first time I saw the adverts back in 2006. Ever since, I have been obsessed. I will be forever grateful for the opportunities and friends this franchise has given me, as well as something to entertain and guide me as I grew up. I will never forget the excitement I have shared with you guys, waiting for premiere pictures, promotional pictures and interviews – I have made so many memories that I will never forget.

But it’s my time to leave.

The High School Musical board is a beautiful place with such an incredibly calm ambience, and it deserves a moderator with time and utmost enthusiasm to maintain that atmosphere. Just lately my life has become increasingly busy and my interests have changed.

Therefore I am saying my goodbyes. I intend to continue posting on here and sharing excitement with you all but I think the freedom to post when I can without feeling guilty is something that I need right now. However, I will be sticking around until the new moderator is appointed. You won’t be getting rid of me that easily.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has made the last two years and three months on this board so much fun.

Dani, thank you for being such an amazing co-moderator and friend – you are incredible and I have learnt so much from you. We’ve been through this entire thing together so far and you’ve been such a great companion. Keep being so beautiful and such a wonderful fan. The franchise is lucky to have you, and whoever gets the post will be lucky to work alongside you.

But most of all, I want to say thank you to HSM, for making me a better person for the past 6 years. I will never forget what you have done for me and the way you have shaped me in the transition from being a young adult to becoming an adult.

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat.

Oh my gosh, bb, I honestly didn't think this would ever happen, but I guess it's the time for you.

I remember when I first started posting here and you and Dani were both so welcoming to me and you made a comment about my brother being cool that just easily made me feel like I made a new friend. We might not have always gotten along splendidly, but we've built such a strong friendship over the years because of this board and it's quite a hard concept to grasp that you're actually leaving and oh god, I'm tearing up, I should stop rambling.

You're truly my best friend and I'm going to miss you moderating this board immensely.

The best of luck for the future (just a formality, because if we ever lose contact, the consequences will be very... violent), my beautiful Tamy. I love you so much.
