Gabriella/Sharpay #3 ~ Because Sharpay wanted to do the show 'for Gabriella'.
 Thanks Lexi! D a y and N i g h t; Hot and Cold; Oil and Water... Gabriella Montez and Sharpay Evans. Whether sparring over a role in a musical or fighting over a boy, these two undoubtedly had a certain s p a r k to their interactions. They brought out some of the b e s t and the worst qualities in one another - Sharpay forcing Gabriella to stand up for her beliefs; Gabriella forcing Sharpay to take accountability for her actions... Friends or enemies, these two clearly play a big part in one anothers life. Join us in appreciating this f u n... interesting relationship.  Thanks Lexi! Because Gabriella thought Sharpay had a nice penmanship Because Sharpay told Gabriella to break a leg, which in theater talk means good luck. Because Sharpay did the show 'for Gabriella'. Because 'Gabriella, I understand you've moved every summer for the past five years and I hate to think today is... goodbye' Because Sharpay 'helped Gabriella with the winter musical' Because Gabriella saved Sharpay from drowning on her first day as lifeguard. Because they both wanted to star in the musical Because Sharpay didn't want Gabriella to work at Lava Springs... but she still did.  I wonder if they ever, like, talked everything over after high school and just put it in the past. I don't think so, because in SFA, in one of the songs, Sharpay seems to sing "Bye Gab" in a rather smug fashion... But maybe even after SFA?  Maybe Troy and Gabriella came to visit her on Broadway? |

could be! Just remember that Gabi's with the guy that Shar wanted to be with. Plus he wasn't interested to be in a relationship with Shar, so that was a BIG bummer for her. So ofc she wasn't too happy with Gabi

Yeah, I don't blame her. But I think that after SFA, there's definitely a possibility for them to move forward, because Sharpay now has her own guy.

If you take it canonically, I think SFA would've taught Sharpay that she was more into the 'idea' of Troy. Gabriella may be many things but at heart she's a young woman and Sharpay would be somewhat of a threat to her, even if she trusted Troy, she wouldn't trust Sharpay until Sharpay could come to the point of acknowledging to Gabriella that she was in the wrong.

Yeah, and while I think that Sharpay has definitely had a wake up call, I don't know how willing she would be to admit that she was wrong. I mean, she's still Sharpay and I think she does want to keep her dignity. I think it's not impossible for them to make up but I don't think the strain between them is completely gone after SFA.
I will forever love that Gabriella was Sharpay's maid.  Kind of kinky if you look at it in a femslash way...  |
