Announcement! HSM3 Spoiler Guidelines

Hello everyone

With our Wildcats all getting their contracts signed to do the third and final (

) installment of High School Musical, the 7 mods; Kath (Falling~star), Jill (BrendaSaysHi), Jule (~Jewel~), Nessa (V-Nessa), Holden (LessThanPerfect), Adie (Adie010) and I, have decided to bring back the spoiler thead. So, even though nothing is pouring in just yet, we thought we would give you a heads up on how to handle and where to post and discuss Spoilers and Speculations.

As a reminder, Fan Forum's spoiler rule says:

Since these are not television show boards, the whole of it does not apply. But, pay attention to the bolded line. This does apply and we six mods have set down some rules:

All artwork should be in the Spoiler Thread
Excluding Promotional Images that have been released. This means all stills, images and pictures from the movie itself. If you are unsure of your own icon, PM one of us and we'll tell you yay or nay on the avatar. Also, if we ask you to take your avatar down because of spoilery images, don't argue. Respect the decision that the moderators have made and kindly change it.
All Trailer discussions are to remain in the Spec & Spoiler Threads . CORRECTION: Trailer discussions will not be permitted outside that thread until the official trailer has premiered ON the Disney Channel.
Any Speculation should also be kept inside the Spoiler Thread. This means if you think that Sharpay will get Troy to sing with her while on a tree swing and Gabriella will see it and Ryan will be in on the scheme, then it belongs in the Spoiler Thread.

HSM3 Spoiler Guideline

Hey everyone!

As of right now, you can discuss spoilers and anything to do with the movie inside the HSM3 thread provided they are done so within SPOILER BOXES!

Discussion of songs on the soundtrack do not need to be placed in spoiler tags. The soundtrack has been released so feel free to talk about it in any of the threads.

HSM 3 icons will also fall under the spoilers rules. Icons containing scenes from the trailer will be allowed. All others will not. Please do not post any other actual icons in the threads until November 1. Links to HMS 3 icons are ok but please warn posters that they will see HSM 3 icons. If you have any questions as to whether an icon is allowed to be posted, please contact one of the moderators.

This is for everyone who wishes to remain spoiler free until they are able to see the movie. And the rule will be in place until November 1st, after that then all talk of the movie can be done so without spoiler tags in any of the threads.

Thanks for setting it up. I was about to change the rules when i got home from the movies but i got too tired.
