Twilight Saga - Would you rather be a Cullen or a Black?

So just wondering about this. Taking into consideration werewolves and vampires and the character of the two families.

I think the reading thoughts thing would creep me out too much so I pick the cullens

I've always had a fascination with vampires and I'd love to be one

Plus, not to be too terribly shallow, but how awesome would that be to smell incredible all the time, without ever having to take a shower?

I would save SO MUCH time! And to be incredibly beautiful. That would be nice, too.

I agree, Michelle.

I would definitely want to be a Cullen. They have been a family for such a logn time and they've really grown close. It's amazing to see that and to know that Edward for example misses them when he is gone to Denali in Twilight. It's so great to see that creatures who usually don't hang around with each other in these large groups can get so comfortable with each other that they become a real family and not just a coven. I would want to be a part of that family. I would love Alice as a sister and Emmett as a brother. Definitely Cullen

That's really the best reason of all. I loved Alice's explanation for it...that Carlisle theorizes that because of how they (his family) choose to live (abstaining), they are able to form their bonds based on love rather than survival or convenience like the other vamps.

I thought that was nice.

Cullen. They are so loving towards each other and protect each other no matter what. But there's still that sense of privacy as well that I like.

I could be a Cullen and still stay human?

After everything I read up on them from either the books, Stephenie's website, or Twilight Lexicon, being a vampire definitely doesn't seem like a walk in the park.

When we get thirsty our mouths start to water and our throat feels dry.
When vampires get thirsty it's the equivalent of having 3rd degree burns on their throats.
Not being able to cry would be horrible. I could live without having to go to the bathroom though.
I would miss sleep, I would get so bored.
I also know that I'm not good with temptation, so if I became a vampire I wouldn't be able to handle the Cullens life style at least not right away.
I hate to say this but I already know I would be a human killing vampire, so it would just be best to stay human.

As for the Blacks. I already know I couldn't be a werewolf because it's hereditary for them. Maybe just maybe if Billy and Jacob got a bigger place to live. (I'm claustrophobic.)
