because it's the chapter wher there's no Edward

OK I love Bella, Alice and Jasper but even though this chapter is trying to 'build the tension' it didn't work for me I can't explain, it would have been better if it was only Alice guarding Bella or only Jasper not them together as a couple. It felt like Bella was intruding on them and the chapter was meant to be about her. Jeez I'm just confusing myself I didn't hate it or anything..I think I almost prefer to read about Alice and Bella together than Edward and Bella, it's just that something about the chapter felt off. for me.

Ditto, I totally vote Scary Stories. What a boring time at a beach, man. I mean, finding out this incredibly gorgeous man you've been secretly pining over might be a vampire is interesting and chilling, but for the most part, I totally skip this chapter when re-reading.

48 hours?! That's not long enough. The episode survivor on my board goes for three days and it always takes me that long to decide.

That being said, my vote goes to Chapter 1.

I vote Chapter 1 - I realize now it was setting things up as to why Bella would leave her mom, but it didn't really pique my interest to continue with the book.
