As a HUGE One Tree Hill fan it is really hard for me to place Michael Coupon as Jacob. He has the look to pull it off but I just can't see that far into it yet. I liked that Taylor had a baby face, it made it more realistic that he was younger that Edward and Bella. I don't know, I am sure what ever casting they do have for New Moon will work itself out in the end. Look at how many people didn't want Robert to be Edward and now I can't picture anyone else playing that role.

That is true, I think I was more or less just trying to grasp at straws as to why I might change my mind on Michael if he does indeed end up being cast. Robert had what was it, 75,000 petition signatures against him. But he obviously won everyone over in the end. Perhaps Michael will do the same, perhaps not. I don't see him having the charisma to do it but I think that is because I have yet to see a performance by him that I don't cringe at, or an interview as you said. I completly agree if someone or who does (still unknown at this point) replace Taylor it is going to have to be someone that can overpower the fact that Taylor has won over fans as Jacob Black. Honestly, I do not envy who has to cast for that part.
