I had my eyes closed, as she instructed.
She grabbed my hands from the mattress and lifted them up. I could hear her breathing hitch, and prayed she was going to put them on her body.
Instead, she jerked my body down a few inches and lifted them above my head and behind me.
Then I started to really get nervous. "Bella, what are y-"
"No talking."
"Okay but what are you doing?"
I felt my hands being pressed palm to palm, as something wound around my wrists. "Are you... tying me up?"
She snickered, not saying anything.
"Bella, come on. You know I could get loose if I wanted to."
"I know you can. But we're not done yet, and I haven't explained the rules."
"But this little game involves tying me up?"
"Yes."

I allowed her to tie me up as I kept my eyes closed. I knew I could sneak a peek at her, too fast for her to tell, but decided against it.
I figured I'd better play along, for now.

I like this one because A) it's really well written and B) it shows what it would be like if a modern-day Edward was suddenly turned into a vampire. Bella is trying to figure out what is going on with her friend. It's captivating and I highly suggest you check it out. tyler baz usually updates it pretty frequently, too.

Usually I'm not into AU, but this one is another favorite of mine. It's only minorly AU, anyway. Basically, the Bella in this chapter gets more socially anxious than she does in the book, but the rest of it is very much in character. This story is also really well written. I like how, in this fic, both Edward and Bella are cautious about entering a relationship. This fic is pretty long, too, and still going.

"Because I want us to work."
Dean chuckled sarcastically, "And... don't you have to be together in order to work out?"
"Yes, but..." I tilted my head, giving her a wink, watching her cheeks turn darker, "we're taking it slow."

I nodded, swallowing hard, "I know."
"And besides, you were the one who told me the day of the accident that Edward wanted me, and you saw it. You kept bringing it up too. You defended me with Tanya. I thought you supported Edward and I getting back together, but-"
I cut her off, keeping my voice calm, "I did support you two, because I wanted to keep my best friend happy. But then, when you cheated on Jasper, all I could think about was how you cheated on Edward with Jacob and how this seemed to be a routine, and I thought about the time he almost overdosed on drugs because he was so heartbroken over you... I didn't want you cheating on him, too."
"I wouldn't do that, Alice."
"How are you so sure?"
"Because I love Edward. All I ever wanted to do was be with him."
"How do you know it will work?"
She groaned, running her hands through her hair as she muttered, "Why does everyone keep asking that?" under her breath.
"Because... we're all worried for you two."
She rounded her shoulders, keeping her voice stern and strong, "Well, we're grown ups now. We don't need little extra mommies and daddies running around, patting our backs and picking up our toys. We know how low we sunk, we know how bad it got... but guess what? We're still here, we're still trying, and we still want to be together. Despite all of that."

Hello Twilight fans!


I love the Twilight saga and I've read every book, including the small parts of "Midnight sun". I am so sad that there is no more to read of the Twilight saga. I understand that Stephanie is not going to finish Midnight sun and I respect her decision. I wanted to ask you all fans of the books out there to help me. I got an idea - we should all write Twilight moments, change things we didn't like in the books, introduce new characters. We can all write our own Twilight. We are not going to sell it or anything like that. We are just going to have fun and maybe this way we can inspire Stephanie to keep writing. I want to see others perspective on what they think that should \ not \ have happened and so on. I hope you understand that I do not want to cause trouble. All I want is to keep reading the Twilight saga. Since Stephanie is not writing anything about it for now, I hope that you will be fine with my idea. We can all use our imagination to create something new. Hopefully, I understand what I mean and you decide to contact me to exchange what we write about Twilight.
