Too bad Master Of The Universe is no longer around being the author published the story Under 50 Shades of Gray.

It was not I repeat not a fic I normally read because of the subject matter I felt like Bella at times with blushing ten shades of red reading this story. However the writing and sub plot (no pun intended) was so good I became addicted to it.

Oh 50 best written character in a long time. :thud:

Oh and Wide Awake is a classic amazing one of the first twilight fics I ever read. So well done. :thud:

I've heard conflicting things about MoTU. Some people think it's one of the best Twi fanfics out there while others just couldn't get into it. I haven't started reading it yet, so I'm not sure what category i'll fall into.

Wide Awake will always be my #1 because it was the first full-fledged Twi fanfic that I read :love: But EP and UtAT are definitely right up there with WA. The quality of writing in all 3 of these fics is amazing.

Well like I said Master Of the Universe was not a fic that I was into at the beginning. I was squrmish and awkward over the subject matter being I am not into those fics and still am not.

However Master Of The Universe was interesting being it was told from Bella's point of view and how she was wisked away into the wold of wealth and glamor after getting the interview of a life time after her college roommate Rosalie falls ill with the flu and can't go so Bella goes as her replacement.

Edward is 7 years older the Bella. Bella is 21 Edward is 27. He is a rich CEO with a very dark past. People are after him because of his money and power and they are also after him for his heart with his dark personal life and past.

So right away I found that intriguing. I always love a good thriller. I also found it interesting as to why he wants Bella so much and tries to charm her by exposing her to new things such as art, music, and flying. Bella's innocence frustrates him and he wants her more because of it. She is not willing to fall so easily to his charms as the other woman in his life have.

He also introduces her to the world of seduction. Even I admit I too felt like Bella and was beat red over some parts!

However as the story goes on I fell in love with her characters especially Taylor Edward security guard. Edward character as well is written so well. He might be powerful but he is a broken soul underneath that thousand dollar suit. Oh and I love Bella she might be innocent but she is so strong.

I admit I was only going to read one or 2 chapters after my friend raved about it. I started reading it and then I was hooked I wanted to find out more as to why Edward was the way he was and what Bella would do.

I also loved the Edward outtakes to it as well. They were great to see what was going on inside his mind.

The story really it written so well. The music the author chose was amazing a range from classical to pop to jazz it fit very well with the story. Some parts were beautiful with the music.

I can see why the author Icy got it published it was really well written and well done. So I would buy the book 50 Shades Of Gray or find someone who has the original Fan fic story.


I agree Wide Awake will always hold a special place in my heart it was the first twilight fan fic I ever read. I love that story so much and re read it now and then.

As a fellow fan fic writer I love well written fics and good writing. :sigh:

I don't think I'd buy the book because once I read a fan fic, I can't imagine having the character names and locations changed...it would seem like a completely different story to me.

I haven't had any time to re-read WA because despite it's awesomeness, it is quite long. I might try to reread it over my Christmas break.

I read TEoPC's final chapter...was it just me or did it kinda disappoint you? :look:
