The troubled soldier and shy belle... A tale not told enough

"An honest, up-front, seemingly logical girl"

Bella is an old soul.
She loves reading the classics and has the habit of mothering the people she cares about.
Besides having a big heart she also has two left hands (and feet).
Luckily there are always people to help.
When first moving to Forks and meeting the Cullens, her attention is drawn to Edward.
But when her life and confidence are treatened, she turns to Jasper for support and finds the help she needs.

"Forged in war, born of death, saved by love"

Jasper was a major in the Confederate army and has thus fought in both human and vampire wars.
This affects his character greatly, as he would be willing to give his life for the ones he loves.
Upon first meeting Bella, Jasper remained in the background, though always present and supportive.
After almost attacking Bella, he feels extremely bad and tries to stay further away.
It is only when Bella makes clear she forgives him and understands, that their relationship starts to grow.
And as the book serie evolves, they continue to grow closer...

And yet, here I am again, shamlessly pimping another AMAZING fic I'm readin, it's on Live Journal on the Bella and Jasper thread and I belive it's called changing heartache into courage or heartache to courage...I'm too tired to think, anyway, it's AU after eclipse. Alice and Edward both died in the battle with the Newborns, but the night before Alice told Jasper that she had a vision of their death and sked him to watch over Bella if something happened. Esme later revels that Alice told her that another part of the vision involved Jasper saving Bella's life one day. The story is still a work in progress and the romance has not really developed yet...at least not as far as i've read, but Jasper is really protective of Bella and you can tell the two of them are getting closer.. I'll post a link to it tomorrow when I'm more awake. Goodnight
