Gill, also Jasper. the Cullen boys all have wrist cuff. ung ke Esme talaga, di ko pa napapansin and to think i've seen the film several times already. nways, thanks for the pics from Germany. i'll prolly have time to save those by tomorrow. no time over the weekend.

as always, Kristen's dress is cute, and that's coming from someone who hardly admires dress for that matter. Rob's dazzling.

Los Angeles, CA, December 7, 2008 – Summit Entertainment and director Catherine Hardwicke jointly announced today that the filmmaker will not be directing the next installment in the newly minted TWILIGHT film franchise. Summit’s targeted end of 2009 or early 2010 release of the film, NEW MOON, does not work with Ms. Hardwicke’s required prep time to bring her vision of the film to the big screen. Thus as has been done before with many successful film franchises, the studio will employ a new director for NEW MOON.

"I am sorry that due to timing I will not have the opportunity to direct NEW MOON,” said Hardwicke. “Directing TWILIGHT has been one of the great experiences of my life, and I am grateful to the fans for their passionate support of the film. I wish everyone at Summit the best with the sequel-- it is a great story."

“Catherine did an incredible job in helping us to launch the TWILIGHT franchise and we thank her for all of her efforts and we very much hope to work with her on future Summit projects,” said Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Production. “We as a studio have a mandate to bring the next installment in the franchise to the big screen in a timely fashion so that fans can get more of Edward, Bella and all of the characters that Stephenie Meyer has created. We are able to pursue an aggressive time frame as we have the luxury of only adapting the novels into screenplays as opposed to having to create a storyline from scratch.”

teena- actually dun sa LJ me mga ayaw ke Catherine meron naman gusto din tas someone suggested na kung papalitan man si Catherine eh sana female director sana....pero ang important naman eh they get someone who can visualize New Moon in a way na kung magkaroon man ng konting changes eh it will still work as a movie adaptation

he directed POA. i like the angst of that movie which would be, i think, no expert at this, good for NM.

Gill: Thanks for posting the news here about Catherine not doing New Moon. I dunno how to feel about this news. I personally think she's a good director and also, she's really passionate about the franchise, that's really important. Oh well, I do hope they can get a better one to replace her.

Teena: Welcome! Ang cute nga at parehas pa talaga sila kahit ang pose.

Nia: I knooow! I love Catherine too. I've seen her work in the behind the scenes and I could tell that she's really into it. Plus she's fun, knows the actors well, and can relate to fans.

This is the worse news I could possibly hear as a Twi-hard.

I'm gonna miss her. And the music - the shots- it's all gonna be so awful. The least they could do is fire Melissa. Melissa, I hate!

karen and nia- okay rin nga si catherine...due to time constraints talaga ang problem unless gawin nilang back-to-back ang pag gawa ng movies eh tumatanda na rin yung actors kung papatagalin. sayang kasi okay rin yung directing styles ni catherine. mostly, sa nabasa ko sa Lion and Lamb LJ eh mas ayaw nga nila ke melissa.

I still hate them. Grr. If they have our best interest at heart, they should fire Melissa and give us a better scriptwriter.
