me too, first that second to last (was it?) episode where it looked like he would die but then he didn't, I already cried my eyes out over that, and then he did die in the finale

I was convinced during the premiere - when Charlie came to Hurley - that he was still alive, which meant Boone and Shannon might still be alive.

Oh well. I'm still hopelessly addicted.

Yeah, it was already so sad when he was writing that list.

And when he was saying goodbye to Claire and the baby.. and when he left his ring in the crib but Claire didn't see it and left it behind.. and when Desmond wanted to go into the water but Charlie wouldn't let him etc..

My friend's obsessed with this show, I haven't seen an episode yet. Do you need to watch the movies to know what's going on?
