And poor Leah seems to lose her chance to be free and have someone who actually cares about her besides her brother. Someone who could have been a friend without the imprint which seems to override all other relationships. Someone who understood what she had gone through, and even felt the same kind of pain. Even if Jacob and Leah didn't eventually progress to a pair, they at least would have had a much tighter, more significant bond than they can have now, IMO. I hope that doesn't come off too negative. The Nessie thing just really, really bugs me all around, it's just my opinion. ![]()

I for one am super glad Leah didn't imprint on anybody, its just the stupidest concept to latch characters together for conveniance sake rather then have to develop a relationship. __________________

Bella, Bella...I could say something mean about her here but I won't because I realize some of you like her character alot, but to be honest I really disliked her after Twilight. I'm glad that Leah didn't imprint too. I want her to have choices (Okay, I sound like her mom there ) because so many things have been taken away from her...or more like ripped away from her. She deserves a real happy ending, not one that was forced by some supernatural imprint BS. ![]() __________________ Team Jacob "Death is easy, peaceful...LIFE is harder." -Bella Swan Icon by Sylvia Peyton

im anti-bella so you wouldnt' offend me bb ![]() My absolute dream would have been for Leah to have choosen to love Jake. The damn story was going that way. But oh well. But yeah, I agree. Love is a choice, its a slow process where feelings grow - none of this imprint nonesense. I don't think Leah would take to kindly to imprinting anyway tbh, shes seen how weird it is and how it messes up lives, I dont really see how it could convincingly work on her. __________________

yay another anti-Bella. For awhile there I thought I might be the only one. I would have loved for her to have chosen Jake and for him to have done the same with her. And I would have loved to have seen Sam's reaction to them as a couple. I agree that Leah would not have taken to lightly to the whole imprint thing...she probably would have punched the guy for somehow making her imprint on him. ![]() __________________ Team Jacob "Death is easy, peaceful...LIFE is harder." -Bella Swan Icon by Sylvia Peyton

| I don't really have much love for Bella either. Or any, even. I don't passionately hate her (except when I think about how she treated Charlie), but there's definitely no love for the character. In BD, when Leah is talking about imprinting, and how she doesn't hate it, I never felt like she really, truly wanted it for herself. I always thought she was saying that because at that point she just wanted to forget how much she hated Sam, but even more she tells herself imprinting is right and it's meant to be, because that makes it hurt less thinking about Sam leaving her for Emily. I could understand her hating it and resenting it, but it also makes sense if she tries to really believe in it and believe it means something important - otherwise, Sam leaving her for Emily has no deeper meaner, no greater good, and that might hurt even more. Sorry if that isn't completely coherent - I love discussing things, but I have the hardest time typing out coherent, logical responses without taking like, an hour. ![]() | |||

| I think it makes complete sense. I don't know if you remember that scene where Jacob tells Bella he isn't getting any older, that he isn't aging, until he stops phasing and she pitches this big fit because she's the "only one who has to grow older"....but that scene, ugh, I just wanted to smack her upside the head. And then with Edward always giving her whatever she wanted (like Jacob points out while she's pregnant) was another thing that drove me crazy. IMO Bella just needed to be put in her place. I mean, what kind of person wants to die and become a vamipire and leave all you've ever known behind? How could she do that to her family and her friends--especially Jacob who she claims she's in love with and who she says is her best friend? I just don't understand, but maybe that's why I don't like Bella. Maybe we like Leah more because we're more like her than we are Bella?Quote:
I find it kind of sexist that she's not able to imprint while the boys are. Like why not her? I'm not saying that I want her to imprint, but it would have been nice for her to have the option. ![]() __________________ Team Jacob "Death is easy, peaceful...LIFE is harder." -Bella Swan Icon by Sylvia Peyton Last edited by ssbailey : 07-03-2009 at 07:47 PM.

| Yeah! She's only done one famous movie, The New World, and yet she's already an awarded actress! I was pleasantly surprised by that. And she's very engaged in charity work and enviromental issues... she's kinda awesome. I really, reeeeeeeeaally hope she's our Leah. It'd be an amazing addition to the cast. | |||

It has become such a big issue today, and yet some people don't even care about it . We must preserve the earth.
