I haven't watched it yet.

And she was only 14 at the time! So it's impressive that she got an award for that. But I'll definitely have to check it out some time soon.

QUESTION

since we didn't have the chance to see Leah pre-brokenheart, do you think she was always... feisty? She's kind of bitchy now, but do you think before all that happened with Sam and Emily, she was at least somehow sassy or short-tempered at all? Or was she a completely different person?

No, I think she's always been a firecracker. She's like the friend who talks you into doing crazy things like going to a huge party even though you have a huge final at 7:30am the next day. Which is the way I think Sam used to be too before he phased and had to become more responsible because he was the Alpha.

I hope she's always been a vit fiesty, that's one side of her I like. It means she's not afraid to fight for what she wants (even if Sam was a lost cause for her :/).

I think she was allways fiesty but that it was more of an innocent "I can conqure the world" kind of thing that certain teenage girls go through when they're young. Its very likely she used to be more sweet and trusting though and that got ruined with the imprint betryal.

BTW: Q'ori recently got a young hollywood award. So shes still getting recognised in the industry.

I think maybe now her witty remarks just have a sharper, more well placed edge to them.

she was always sharped tongued but some of that comes from bitterness now.

That's what I thought, too. She must have always been a firecracker, but now - after everything that's happened - she's just plain old bitter. Which sucks cause it's like she's been reduced to a cliche when she's obviously such a complex character.

I think the bitterness is wearing off, by breaking dawn i got the impression she was just plain tired of always having to be the bitchy one. Moving into the renegade pack was the repreve she needed.

Well yeah, being away from Sam's pack definitely did her some good. Especially since right now she doesn't have him on his mind all the time, that's gotta be relaxing and it makes it easier for her to lay back a little.

And yes, it must be exhausting playing the bitchy card all the time. While Leah is upset about the situation, her life doesn't stop for that. She must want to move on from all of that.

Okay, so I watched "The New World" and even though I thought our girl was fantastic in the movie, it isn't one of my favorites.

I wonder when we'll know for sure about who they've cast as Leah? By the end of July, maybe?
