ah... the second one and the last are definitely wolves, the first one could be too. even if maybe a little cross species. the characteristics of all wolves are different dependent on species and environment. also the eyes cannot always be an indicator as they change as wolves age. they can be a light yellow or topaz like colour if the wolf is young, or orange if the wolf is older. so i dont think we should right off the first pic yet... i was reading a thingy on google and it said its near impossible to pick the differences between coyote, dogs and wolves. anyway, the pics are cool. i found a pretty sunset one >>

The first picture I posted is of a wolf cross as you suggested. Since Jacob is a werewolf and not a purebred wolf or anything, I think that the distinction probably isn't all that important picture-wise. Thanks for all the extra pictures you've posted, they're great!

I don't know.

Maybe we'll get one closer to the movie, but I don't think they're too concerned with Jacob or the wolves at this point. Which sucks.

But Jacob is important.

He's even more important in NM so why don't they advertise him or somthing. Darn, this does suck. I know it's all about EB but in the second book Jacob is a pretty big factor.

I know.

But it seems that the promo people don't. They're probably just trying to cash in on the majority at the moment because it's the first movie. Most fans (and random followers who haven't read the books but will probably see the movie) are obsessed with Edward and E/B so that's what they're promoting.

Not to mention that if the casting lady hasn't read New Moon, it's possible that many others involved in the movie haven't either so they still don't realise the importance of Jacob.

I can tell the difference for sure. i worked with wolves and i'm a vet. i have to be able to tell, since wolf cross breeds arent allowed by law in germany and i would have to report such a cross breed immediately.

it looks like a husky/wolf mix or german shepherd/wolf mix. an older one. I would say 7 to 8 years old. the rest of the pics are wolves but the first one isnt.

i simply think that purebred wolves are prettier

thats why i would always vote for a real wolf pic. you can see so much life in the eyes of a wolf.

anyway... i was just saying. if you choose a dog pic it wont crush my world or anything

. i just wanted to tell you its a dog since some people might be disappointed later when they find out.

Well, the movie will come out in December. Usually promo pictures aren't out that early at all! They only do this because of the big fanbase, and the big fanbase isn't all that interested in Jacob. Especially since he doesn't play THAT big of a part in Twilight, he plays a lot bigger part in NM and Eclipse. So, I think we just have to patient.

By the way, I'm reading Eclipse right now

Really? I though JB shippers would be happy that he kissed her. Even though it wasn't at all like Jake IMO, he was too smug about it. I think SM could have maybe done it a bit differently. Although when Bella punched him, I though that was funny and he didn't even feel it.

I agree, he was too smug about it and I think he should've backed off when she told him she didn't feel the same way. Jake never forced her into anything, he never even not let her do something even though she wanted it (unlike this boyfriend we know) and it just seemed so out of character and it didn't help their relationship at all. At least not right now (where I am in the book).
