I am kind of scared to go into the EB thread, I mean I love EB with all my heart but sometimes there is so much Jake hate it makes you want to defend him and then when you do you get your head bitten off, that's what happened to me anyway so now at a certain time I don't go in there anymore. But you are right, we do rock.

I happens so often. It's really not nice to read some peoples posts about him though.

It's not fair though, someone talks about Edward in here and we act like mature people, no bad words are said about him but one word about Jacob in there and he gets called all these horrible names.

I like that we're not nasty to Edward, we voice our disagreements with how he is/what he does in a controlled, mature manner

I totally understand why Jake and J/B fans are so chilled out though... I mean, how can we not when we have our own personal sun shining on us all the time

ok, that's it, I'm off to try and find the "escape" scene where Jake takes Bella on the back of his bike across the treaty line or whatever it's called

If I wasn't already in love with Jake by that point, that totally did it for me.

That's a great part.

I loved when he 'kidnapped her' from Alice. That was one of my favourite parts to read.

Even though by now I'm really okay with E/B after I read Eclipse anyway, I onky love J/B a little bit more.

Some people just have a diffence of opinion when it comes to Jacob.

I am not against Edward and Bella. I think that their relationship is so sweet (I am the hugest buffy/Angel fan, I gotta ship vamps and humans

), and I can understand the lure of Edward and vampire-ism. But I can't let Jacob slip from this, I love him to death. And I don't think that Bella is giving him a fair chance before she turns into something she can't change back from. If this was any other situation, if she weren't going to turn vampire, then I would say, go be with Edward! If it doesn't work out, she could try with Jacob. But she can't turn back, and she should atleast give Jacob some time or a chance to give her his opinion before she does it.

I think for me, its all about giving Jacob a shot

So I guess I ship the two couples. I am more of the want to see what happens, rather than want one way over another

I find this group of people to be a whole lot more mature than some of those crazed, irrational E/B fans. I'm not bashing them or anything, because they have a good reason to be so totally in love with their ship, but I just kinda get a way more open and accepting vibe from Jake and J/B fans

anyway, good points about the whole keeping Bella safe schemes. While I was a bit pissed that Jacob told Charlie about the bikes, I was even more pissed at Edward for treating Bella like an incapable child in the beginning of Eclipse

I totally agree, after all we don´t seek troubles, and, we only want to find the way into the sun shine!! yeah ! lol (I know, only I can understand me), honestly I think that the E/B fans are very immature and irrational and they doesn´t acept a clean and healthy competition.

yep, I'm like that too... I can see the bad and the good in both, and I love both Edward and Jacob to pieces

I like the way you think.

If Bella could so easily imagine a life with Jacob (I mean come on, she could see kids!) she should really give it a go with him before she decides she wants to die for her high school boyfriend. It's kinda something you can't undo, and she should possibly give Option B a go before she goes with the irreversible Option A. And sometimes Option B is the better one.

That being said, as I mentioned a while before, I actually want to see Jacob with someone... I don't know how to word it (

) not better than Bella as such, but someone more deserving of what an awesome guy he is.

I just wish she had realized that she was in love with Jake earlier... I mean I am happy that she finally realized it and that we got some pretty good moments still...
