I like how he did that though, he was trying to keep her safe. As hanging out with vampires to him isn't very safe, I would agree with that too.

A lot of people thing it was so horrible of him, but Edward would do extreme measures like that too, like keeping her from going to La Push after he got back.

I totally agree. I don't get why people think it's so horrible when it's highly likely that Edward would have done the same thing if he were in Jacob's position.

I think that for Jacob, its his last straw. I mean don't forget he is still younger and just controlling his wolf emotions. And turning vamp is an irrevocable move and for the person you love to be thinking of it?

I mean what else could he do? The treaty doesn't have him around much, and edward wouldn't let her leave forks without his leash

Ginerva Girl, very good point! the book is in the point of view of Bella, so we get the "traiter" vibe, but in the case of Jacob's POV, it'd be different

I love other Jacob and J/B fans!

I find this group of people to be a whole lot more mature than some of those crazed, irrational E/B fans. I'm not bashing them or anything, because they have a good reason to be so totally in love with their ship, but I just kinda get a way more open and accepting vibe from Jake and J/B fans

anyway, good points about the whole keeping Bella safe schemes. While I was a bit pissed that Jacob told Charlie about the bikes, I was even more pissed at Edward for treating Bella like an incapable child in the beginning of Eclipse
