| lol I did the same thing. I thought that I could maybe hold out on reading Eclipse (for the first time) until it was closer to the release of BD. After I finished NM, I couldn't handle not knowing what happened next and I had to dive into Eclipse immediately. I doubt that I could keep myself from reading BD within the first couple of days of getting it. __________________ .amanda. | |||

| Man, I'm so happy. I bought Twilight last year (around this time) and then started to read, got in by a few pages, got bored, put it down, and then moved on, forgetting about it. THEN, this last January, I saw the book in my room, all dusty, , and picked it up. I couldn't stop that time and I read the next two in the following two days. So I'm very thankful that I got bored that first time. That was before Eclipse was even released. If I had had to wait, only to get freaking ECLIPSE, of all books (the one I half hate),  , I would have been too discouraged and the wait for BD would have been far worse.  | |||

| Sometimes I wish I'd started reading them when they first came out, but then I'm kinda glad that I waited so long because like you said, I would never be able to wait a long time in between each book. The wait for BD and the movie is killing me as it is. __________________ .amanda. | |||

| I'm going to freak when my Eclipse Special Edition comes in the mail. I'm hoping it comes early!  The only thing I'm worried about, though, is that... well, you know how the first chapter pretty much reiterates or reminds you of the last book...  Well, I hated the last book, so I don't know if having JUST the first chapter is going to piss me off or make me feel better... I'm scared, you guys. I want it filled with EB goodness and a fully happy Edward (meaning Bella has stopped treating him like ****) but I'm not sure if that's going to be the case in that first chapter.  The only good thing is that there will be no giant, mouth-raping Indians in it, so that's good. | |||

| The thing that I'm scared of is that the first chapter of every book seems to kinda... show you what's happening in the future and I don't know if I want that since I can only read a little snippet until August. __________________ .amanda. | |||

| Oh, I hope that's exactly what it does. If all we're going to have is that one chapter to live off of until August, I'd rather it focus on the awesomeness that we know is coming than have it be a reminder of the ****ty atrocity that happened in the recent past.
