Right.

I can just imagine Jake being there for Ness when she's having a rough time. Like maybe still questioning herself. Even though Nahuel is also a hybrid, he lives far away so she's the only one of her kind in her country. I can see her leaning on Jake for support and dealing with that.

I never understood the controversy with them. It wasn't even an issue.

Jake even explained to Bella when she found out Quil had imprinted on a 2 year old that there was nothing pedophlie about it. The love was genuine and not romantic. Quil acted like a playmate around Claire when it was what she needed, like their time on the beach.

Jake was no different despite having imprinted on a newborn. He loved Ness but in a way that was platonic the way an uncle would their niece or nephew.

The only difference between the Jacob & Quil imprinting versus Sam, Jared, and Paul was that the other 3 imprinted on girls that were close to their age and the girls were at a time when they wanted relationships.

I can't get over how it was for Sam. How Emily kept pushing him away, ordering him back to Emily but in the end after the accident all Emily wanted was him. Next to Jacob's experience, Sam's is easily one of my favorites. I was glad that SM went into detail in the illustrated guide.

But back on point: These two. You can see in Jacob's demenor just how much it bothered him to put Nessie near the Denali coven after they attacked his friends because he didn't want her to get hurt.
