Hi everyone :wave:,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us :).

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customisation process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Rae or Mel a PM or ask the Team on the message board customisation thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes less than two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

For characters please keep in mind that the more characters included the smaller they will be in the graphic. Your current graphic has fourteen so if you want any more included they will be smaller. Around fifteen/sixteen is the max that I would recommend, however we could possibly do eighteen but they would be extremely small. Obviously there are a lot of characters in the franchise so it is up to you all which ones you feel are the most important ones to be included :). You can always stick with the same ones which are in it now if you wish to as well.

Is there a good thread to post about this in that your posters will see it? As this franchise has a large cast and it takes the team time to make the graphics the sooner you can all start discussing and then come to a decision the easier and better for everyone :). ~~Not that I am trying to rush you, sorry. I know it has not been twenty four hours since I started the thread yet.~~

Also to throw this out there, although it is mentioned in the first post, I would recommend taking a look at the design seeds website for colour scheme ideas. We would like to remove the darkness from this board as it can be quite harsh on the eyes. You can stick with shades of purple if you wish, it would simply be reversed so the larger areas are pale purple while the smaller areas are the darker shades. I was thinking to fit the Forks setting something foresty like shades of greens and brown could be a nice change? Perhaps something like this, this, or perhaps even this? If you wanted something to match the books then something like this might work? Then if you did want to stick with shades of purple we could go with what you have now like I said before or perhaps something more like this? Just to throw a few suggestions out there :). I have no idea what sort of colours you were thinking.

Those are some really amazing ideas... And actually really like the color ideas... We will try and decide as soon as possible and let you know in here...:flowers:

Green's and blues would be great.

Though the greens and browns look amazing too.

It would be a nice change to get rid of the darkness here and add in something lighter.

If everyone likes the greens, blues, and browns we may be able to combine them?

For characters who are you thinking? Keep the same? Remove some? Add some? For me the most important ones are Bella, Edward, Jacob, and the rest of the Cullens but my knowledge of Twilight comes more from people telling me what happens in the books and partially watching the movies. Then I have no knowledge of who is popular here.

I love the idea of green and blue.. or brown and green.. reminds me of Forks and the woods and stuff :D

Yeah, I know that Tiana and I also really love the green and blue colors... So if everyone else likes those colors too, then it would be awesome...:D

And for me personal I would love if we could change the picture too... It would make the new change more complete, but thats just me...:)

Okay so looking at our current header, what if we use different caps (ie not the same ones we have here).

Again we could maybe do half Cullens-half wolves.
