I do ship EB in a way. I

Jacob and Bella, but the moment she made her final decision to be with Edward my love for her went out the window and so from the end of NM onward I ship EB. I don't know, it's weird. I ship them both, but in the end I really wanted her to choose Jacob. I wanted her to have that happy, free life with him because even just from watching them on the outside you can see how easy and right it would have been for them to be together. Just seeing them together makes you happy...and for me, reading J/B fanfic helps delude me into forgetting about her going back to E.

I think she made her choice and chose Edward, and I respect that, and so later on I definitely think that Jacob deserved better...especially with the way she treated him in BD while she was preggers.

But seeing them together in NM and some in Eclipse, well you can just tell that they were supposed to be together. Or at least I can. Am I making any sense here?

I'll just say this...personally, I would have chosen Jacob.

Oh and I'll make us a cute J/B baby tomorrow when I wake up, my eyelids are closing on their own right now.

Unfortunately, it seems like many would have chosen Jacob over Edward to end with Bella. But that's why many people ship EB, because even if JB were perfect for each other, Bella still chose Edward over Jacob.

I get you. Its hard to ship JB after Bella drops him and goes to E. And the fact that JB dont get their happy ending, makes it even harder to ship JB, like Lisa said.

But my belief that they were meant for each other was too strong, I could see them together, I could see Bella happy, I wanted that life for her, where she'd be human, getting older, getting wiser, doing something with her life. And I wanted to see Jacob happy.

Thats why I never could give up on JB. Not even after the fail that BD was.

That's why I choose to live in a denial land where they did get their happily ever after and BD never happened. It's much better this way.

I love my little bubble of denial too.

The thing is that its not too hard, cuz BD was so ridiclulous and unconvincing. Its not hard to ignore it, most of the time it comes naturally to me.

And JB's love story is so powerful, and real, that it makes me want to keep believing in them. If that wasnt the case, BD wouldve changed me, or this fandom.

It is one of the best lovestories ever. And it's not some forbidden, epic, over the top lovestory. It's just about Jake and Bella, and how they fell in love, real and perfect just the way it is.

True, its just real, and beautiful. A love story doesnt have to be all epic to be great, it just has to be moving, and that JB were.

That's just the love story of two persons that started as human beings. They felt in love when they were human beings but Bella only realized when Jack had become a werewolf

That's them exactly. Like Jacob says, "It would have been easy with us, like breathing...". There is just something about Jacob Black that makes you want to be around him, want to be near his energy, and I think Bella describes him perfectly when she says he's her "personal sun". He just makes you feel good about yourself, and he makes you feel safe, and I really think Bella picked up on that. That's why it made me so

She really really was and then everything had to change because Edward was selfishly going to kill himself and then probably end up causing the death of all those tourists who saw him dazzle in the courtyard. Give me a break. Jacob would never do that, ever, as we saw when she left him for E. No matter how much Jake was hurting he would never endanger other people's lives like that unless he absolutely had too.

I even listed it in the OP, dont know if anyne here read it or not. The author's idea for a Jacob voice was brilliant and it even has a character named after me.

And I have to agree with you, Bella was weak, Im still not conviced she deserved Jake, but she was a much better person around him, and I believe that she was more than what we saw in canon.

And very rarely have I seen people notice that fact about E trying to kill himself. Did he really think the Volturi would spare the people who actually saw him sparkle? He wouldve caused the deaths of so many. Seriously, for 100 yr old, he was daft at times.

I just wish it would get updated...I realize that the chapters are long, and that it probably takes a while to write them, but it hasn't been update since the end of April.

But I agree with you about the Jacob voice. Can I get a Jacob voice in my head please?

And I love the fact that they have a Shape-shifters council! Vamps have the Volturi and we have Ve.

I agree. She was the Bella she was supposed to have been, and that's another reason why I think I wanted Bella to come to her senses and stay with Jacob. It was so easy to picture them together, living on La Push, and her being a teacher or something at the school while he was a mechanic/werewolf...and then of course them having a bunch of kids because they couldn't keep their hands off of each other.

I can just see the Pack coming over for BBQ's and Sunday dinners...I guess I envisioned her as being almost like Emily, but with a little Bella spin on it. I mean, even Edward admits that Jacob knows Bella better than he does...damn Edward for taking away what could have been between J/B. I have no doubt they would have been one of those couples that you see and you think "Good for them, they've found their other half." Like the one's that there's no doubt that they were made for each other, you know? That's Bella and Jacob. Remind me again why Edward couldn't have just stayed in Denali when he ran away in the first book?

I'm going to go ahead and tell you that out of the main characters in this series, Edward is my least favorite. He's so stale and predictable and I don't see what's so great about him to be honest. I also think he's too possesive (like the author points out in "Realistic Dreams")...I would have kicked him to the curb, but hey...that's just me.
