The Actress
Kristen Jaymes Stewart was born on April 9, 1990 in Los Angeles, CA to John Stewart
and Jules Mann-Stewart. Her father is a stage manager and her mother is a script
supervisor. She has an older brother, Cameron Stewart. Kristen's acting career began at the
age of eight, after an agent saw her perform in her elementary school’s Christmas play. Her
first speaking role was in The Safety of Objects and her first major Hollywood film was Panic
Room along side Jodie Foster. Since then, Kristen has starred in over twenty films and
has most recently garnered critical acclaim for her portrayal of Joan Jett in The Runaways
and ignited Oscar buzz for her raw and electric portrayal of Mallory, a broken teen prostitute, in
Welcome to the Riley's. Kristen can currently be seen in the highly anticipated
conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 1. Kristen’s upcoming films include the
long awaited translation of the literary classic On The Road from page to screen and the
visually dynamic Snow White and the Huntsman.

I love it because I loveto tell stories. I like being in movies that
have a great story. I’m not so interested in being a Hollywood
star. It’s a job, you know. When you wake up at six in the morning
every day for a week, it feels like hard work.

People also tend to pick on Kristen Stewart, but I think she's
done really great job going from acting alongside Jodie Foster
in "Panic Room" to, now, being a f u l l y-f l e d g e d -- and I think
very talented -- actor. I think she does very well and deserves
much better press than she gets. So I definitely look up to her
career as well.
