Kristen Stewart and Brave Women Coming Forward on Sexual Harassment and Abuse
In the course of recent events, I want to speak up in support of Kristen Stewart, and how she was treated five years ago by the tabloids, media, and by people who seem to have been brainwashed by society as to the equality of men versus women

I personally feel Kristen, a relatively inexperienced 21 year old at the time, was taken advantage of, by a predator twice her age, who was, in essence, her employer, whose wife was also in his employ, and who was supposed to be focused on filming a movie. He is definitely a predator. He should have been fired, admonished, tarred and feathered, then sued for taking advantage of someone so young. Who defended or warned Kristen against this predator who was twice her age? Instead, the 21 year old was blamed for everything, while it seemed he got a bye. She has unfairly withstood that blame for five years without the support of the women who could have certainly identified with Kristen's circumstances. They were obviously afraid of the very scrutiny that Kristen went through in the press. Who wrote the book on what's enough? In this case, the media and judgmental people. Obviously when it comes to Kristen, and their relentless articles for sensationalism, along with the criticism from people who would never want to be treated like that themselves, it never is, nor will it ever be enough. It has been five years now for Kristen. There is not one tabloid who doesn't preference Kristen's name with a reminder of the occurrence with this deranged predator, who was twice her age, and had many times more experience.

As a woman, I'm infuriated that it is always the woman who is blamed. That's most likely why the women in these current situations, never came out initially to expose these powerful men. They would most likely have been called names, lost their careers, would have been continually chastised, like Kristen, for tempting them by what they have on, or something they did or said to encourage this vile act. There is no excuse for taking advantage of another person for self-satisfaction.

A woman is held to a higher standard than a man. Do men have zero self-control? Were they not taught to respect women as children? Or, do they develop a sense of privilege along with the power and money they acquire. Whatever made them feel they had the right it is unjustifiable. There is no excuse for invading a person's personal space. Man or woman.

I hope women will stick up for women right now, and not continue to be brainwashed by males who think they have the right to dictate how society should view gender interaction. We can't ignore the pain the wives of these predators must feel. I hope they understand it has nothing to do with them. The responsibility lies solely with the predator.

What's important now is that all women unite, and be the change that is necessary going forward. Women need the support of decent men who understand, and respect the equal rights of women to be the best they can be, without sub-combing to compromise, based on gender. No woman, having gone through abuse and harassment by a perpetrator, should be judged, and reminded almost daily of the horrible experience they had to endure going forward. It's cruel and unreasonable treatment. We have to do better than this as a society and for our children.

And that letter or whatever we wanna call it is absoulutely spot on and couldnt agree more with everything that its been said in it... So Happy that someone is speaking up about how she was threated back then and of course for Kristen for speaking up about Some mens behavoir in the business...
