The Actress
Kristen Jaymes Stewart was born on April 9, 1990 in Los Angeles, CA to John Stewart
and Jules Mann-Stewart. Her father is a stage manager and her mother is a script
supervisor. She has an older brother, Cameron Stewart. Kristen's acting career began at the
age of eight, after an agent saw her perform in her elementary school’s Christmas play. Her
first speaking role was in The Safety of Objects and her first major Hollywood film was Panic
Room along side Jodie Foster. Since then, Kristen has starred in over twenty films and
has most recently garnered critical acclaim for her portrayal of Joan Jett in The Runaways
and ignited Oscar buzz for her raw and electric portrayal of Mallory, a broken teen prostitute, in
Welcome to the Riley's. Kristen can currently be seen in the highly anticipated
conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 1. Kristen’s upcoming films include the
long awaited translation of the literary classic On The Road from page to screen and the
visually dynamic Snow White and the Huntsman.

The Character
Isabella Marie Swan was born on September 13, 1987 in Forks, WA to Charlie Swan and
Renee Dwyer. Her parents divorced when she was just an infant and she moved to Phoenix,
AZ with her mom. When she was 17, she moved back to Forks to live with her father so that
her mom could travel with her new husband Phil, a little league baseball player.
Despite Bella's ordinary image of herself, she quickly catches the attention of many Forks high
school male students, including Edward Cullen. Twilight chronicles Bella's discovery of true love.
New Moon unfolds the heartbreaking experience of Bella losing true love. Eclipse is the
revelation of Bella discovering who she is and who she wants to spend her life with. Breaking
Dawn is the culmination of Bella's journey as she experiences marriage, motherhood, and
the strength that comes with having total conviction in the choices she makes.

I love it because I loveto tell stories. I like being in movies that
have a great story. I’m not so interested in being a Hollywood

every day for a week, it feels like hard work.

Self-evaluation is not my strong point, and you're constantly
asked to critique yourself. You just spent three months on a
set and your whole life is wrapped up in that - and then it's
like, "Okay, define that right now in five seconds." I can't do
that. I used to get so nervous that I would become a completely
different person - and then they would think that was me. So
I've tried to c a l m d o w n, but no one's ever going to write, "Oh,
she's actually just a pretty f---in' average chick who really loves
what she does." That's not gonna happen.

and I am—but those are bad words for them.

People also tend to pick on Kristen Stewart, but I think she's
done really great job going from acting alongside Jodie Foster
in "Panic Room" to, now, being a f u l l y-f l e d g e d -- and I think
very talented -- actor. I think she does very well and deserves
much better press than she gets. So I definitely look up to her
career as well.

Kristen has become one of my best friends and she's one of the most
fantastic, lovely people I know. She's one of the greatest friends you
could have. Kristen's not sullen. She's just so passionate about what
she does; she wants to give it her best all the time. She takes everything

Especially Kristen, who has to carry the entire film, was shooting
everyday and I think is just a force of nature. I think she's absolutely
extraordinary. I think she's one of the best actors living to be honest.
