Bringing this back up, so we talk about the dreaded ending..are you ****ing serious?? How lame is the ending..I have a hard time believing that SM likes Jacob anymore..

OH PLEASE! It's all just so freaking ridiculous... Just the fact that Eddie's sperm is like, zombie!sperm and Bella is having a half human, half vampire baby is already insane enough. But to make Jake imprint on the little spwn? That's when you've gone way, WAY, out of line.

I agree..I mean, I had already come to terms with the B/E ending, even though I lean towards Jacob. And I guess I was ok with the possibility of imprinting on someone, although though it might be happy, I thought it would be kinda lame..and an easy out. But this is ****ing unreal. I'd rather see Jacob go out in a blaze of glory than this stupid storyline. It would be heartbreaking, but memorable. This..I dunno. I still have a difficult time believing that its true

Reading the chapters...
I guess first I was opposed to it cos since E, B & J don't age, I couldn't stop thinking off Nessie as a baby. But she's her own independant person so I dunno... Still a little weirded out but I'll wait.

I am looking forward to reading his POV though, although its amusing how many people are not I seriously do not get the intense hate for Jacob to the point where people say they wont even read that part.

Still not over what happens though I dont consider myself a die-hard Twilight fan, as I see many thing wrong with the series, and alot of things I dont like..but I enjoy some of the characters, and some of the stories enough, and I am livid about what SM does in BD. So..I can only imagine how some others who are more "emotionally invested" , I suppose is the right term, feel.

I just read the 7 chapters and it's like... wow. I knew the ending would be EB, that was not even my main concern. What I was really hoping to see was some, if any, closure to the JB history because by the way SMeyer left it in Eclipse, it was still out in the open. But then to do this?

First, Bella gets pregnant. By a vampire. That must have zombi sperm because there's no other way all this human functions aren't working anymore, but he was able to create sperm. Okay.

Second, Bella's baby is half human, half vampire. And she's supposed to stay human until she's about 16 and then she'll become a vampire becuase the VAMPIRE GENES will kick in by then.

Third, Jacob is there the time said baby is born and imprint on her imediatly. And Bella finds this just awsome because her best friend, the guy she also loves, imprinted on her daughter and now he'll be her son-in-law one day. Dude, it sounds so bizarre when you actually say it.

I mean, she was able to ruin two awsome pairings in just one book. What made the EB pairing so amazing and epic to them was the fact that Bella was whilling to let go of everything she had, of everything she might want someday, the idea of a family, her family, her kids, to be with him, because he's the love of her life. And then she gets pregnant? By zombi sperm? I mean, it ruins the whole epic thing they had going on for them.

And for us... well, let's not even get started on it because I can't really wrap my mind around the idea that Jacob and Nessie (dude this name!!) should be together... I mean, c'mom! How can SMeyer think every fan she had will be please with this scenario? Seriously?!

It's sad though, because even though I knew JB would not be endgame, I still thought she could wrap their history quite nicely and give everyone a smile after reading the book. But, after all of this, I'm sad... I'm sad because she just ruined it. The whole thing.

Actually I do have a couple of thoughts. First, I am not in favor at all about Jacob imprinting on Nessie because that is like Stephenie saying, "Well you can't have Bella but you can still have a part of her which is her daughter". I'm guessing that by the end of the book maybe Edward and Jacob are friends now that would make it a bit more tolerable but to me if I were a Jacob and Bella shipper that would be a slap in the face to me. The last time I saw this done in a fandom was Dawson's Creek where Joey got Pacey physically but she got Dawson for eternity and that is what the whole Nessie thing reminds me of don't ask me why.

As for the rest of the book, I've read the first seven chapters and I love it! My all time favorite Bella moment is in this book. It is right before the time that she goes out to find Edward on the beach. I felt every single emotion that she was going through. I cried at the wedding scenes. Stephenie has such a way of weaving words that I'm just in love with this book. I'm dying to know what Stephenie's favorite moment is because she said that her all time favorite BE moment is in this book.
