1. The thing that appeals to me most about this film is the casting of the core wolf pack. Chaske, Alex, Kiowa, and Bronson are all the physical embodiments of the characters they depict (Sam, Paul, Embry, and Jared, respectively) and I am looking forward to seeing their interpretations of their roles.
2. Tinsel Korey as Emily is another thing I find myself liking about NM. I was never a fan of the character of Emily but it is hard not to like her when I like Tinsel so much.
3. The streets of Volterra in the Italy scenes. All of the brilliant reds of the celebration create a lush, beautiful essence of what that city stands for while, at the same time, reminding viewers that danger always lurks.
4. Wolf swagger and everything ChaskeJames.
5. Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria! Even though I have only seen momentary shots of her this film, I am just amazed at how she convinces me of Victoria’s evil. Rachelle really gives presence to that character.
6. The Volturi living up to their ultimate evil status.

1. Straight up smutty pack lovin’. No matter how busy my day gets, I always check the Pack thread because there is bound to be something to cheer me up.
2. The occasion for thoughtful conversation and analysis. I always like seeing the different perspectives of different shipper groups and the individuals that contribute to them.
3. It allows me to get my AU Twilight fix. Where else am I to go for my Edward/Rose and Jacob/Rose fixes?
4. It keeps me updated on all things Twilight.
5. The amazing fic recs on the board. People on the threads are always passing around links for some really good stories and that saves me the time of searching for them myself.
6. All the pretty art in all the OPs and on the art threads. There are some really talented people hanging out on this board.

1. I enjoy exploring the untapped potential that can be derived from it. I think SM merely scratched the surface of the characters and that serves as a springboard for me to extend my own creative into the story, allowing me to make a part of the story personal.
2. I love the juxtaposition between the good and the bad as it pertains to supernatural beings and, by extension, humanity.
3. The series has the ability to remove readers from reality. It is easy to get lost in the world of Twilight and that, I believe, is a pretty powerful thing.
4. I like that it highlights a part of Native American culture in a way that is not grossly stereotypical. I think so many non-native writers often fall into that trap but it seems that SM has not allowed herself to do that nor have the producers/casting directors.
5. It has exposed me to so many talented actors and has caused me to visit facets other than acting that these people bring to the table.
6. Midnight Sun… ‘nuff said.
