Possible Board Closure Discussion: Please Read and Respond!
 

Rose and I have been discussing this, and we think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 15 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

Yep... yep... It kind of had to come to this. My schedule's gonna change some in times to come and was going to be stepping down from this one, but as it's pretty much just me and Leigh at the moment, this is where we are. I can only hope people will come around :flowers:

It’s hard to keep TV show boards going once they’re over, or the hiatuses are so long between seasons. :( I totally understand, but would feel sad for you girls if it came to that. Good luck with whatever happens. :flowers:

It's just been really difficult recently. It being a netflix show means the hiatus' are even longer than usual, and we aren't being given any information as to when the show will be back, either, which makes things even more difficult. It's not really easy to post when there isn't really much to post about, as frustrating as that is.

oh that sucks :( i feel that is huge issue it is a great show its just the wait and i havent read the books in so long so i can't even discuss that , you both have done so well with this board i support either decision that you make :hug:

oh that would be such a shame.. I love the show but unfortunately because I've been busy I haven't had much time to visit... :(

That's okay. People get busy, and it's hard to remain motivated when there's very little new things to discuss, and of course, with them all on set, we're not even getting actors other projects to talk about.

The board will be closing later today/tomorrow (Sunday 8th October). Thanks to everyone that got back to us, and everyone that has posted since the board opened :) We can of course, still discuss the show in the thread on the Television board.
