Would be funny but I do kinda like how the show isn't depending on the movie franchise either...
 Kinda afraid that whenever I decide to watch this, it will be disappointing me badly in comparison to how much I liked the show  __________________

Awww parent mail… the letter that never came Yeah no it’s definitely a series of unfortunate events Aaaand a spyglass, passing the torch Oh you darling Baudelaires… very fortunate indeed  And off to the mill… yeah? “The End” isn’t until book 13 __________________

Yes and no.. I really did not like what they did with Violet and Klaus, in that Violet didn't get to do any of the things she did in the books and the series, like the grappling hook (which was passed to Klaus), and making the marriage invalid, and figuring out the murder weapon in the Reptile Room, and signalling for help on the boat in the Wide Window. Yes she got to do a couple things like changing the train track and getting them off the broken house, but then you have Klaus, who repeatedly got to show off his knowledge, then got to do her bit of invention in the end, and save the day, looking like the boy window while she got to stare up at him like some damsel in distress... It really rubbed me the wrong way and kind of nullified a lot of my enjoyment of the rest of things
