This tv show may started in the 70s but it ran to 1989 until it was axed from the screen :(

There has been rumours about a second dvd. :yay:

Danni Minogue was a cast member and Kylie Minogue was a guest star who sang with her sister Danni
Nicole Kidman came to the show to as a guest
Sally Boyden did some American movies and guest starred on some late night shows
Natalie Miller was a cast member and now has a Band now
Juanita Coco died in a car crash :( the night of her boyfriend's birthday party...one birthday he won't never forget
He wasn't the driver, someone else was
Tina Arena was a cast member

To this today, I have the music albums, videos, and dvd. I will always be a fan of this tv show

I can't remeber much of YTT :blush: From what my Mum said it was at the time the only show that helped showcase or more so develop young kids music and dance careers.

Johnny Young, still manages to be in the spotlight and was at the opening of The Mint Leaf :D

I'll try and remeber other things as well about YTT :)

Courtney and Joey were my favourites!!!!
I would watch it every Saturday night - I remember it was the only time I was allowed to eat my dinner in front of the TV :lol:

I loved YTT as a kid. Can still remember being in front of the TV every Saturday. Can remember crying when my mum told me it wasn't coming back. I hope they do a second DVD.

Young Talent Time To Return In 2005

Young Talent Time, the show that launched the musical careers of Kylie and Dannii Minogue as well as Tina Arena, is coming back on the air in 2005.

Original host Johnny Young will team with original producer Neville Kent and search Australia for new talent aged from 10-17.

The Herald Sun reports that both Kylie and Dannii may be part of the first show of the season. A popular archive clip of the two sisters as teenagers exists featuring a rare duet singing 'Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves'.

Although the sisters have often both discussed recording together, the Young Talent Time version of Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves is one of the rare pieces of footage with them singing together.

That is awesome news about Rikki and Jamie!! I didn't even know that the two of them were a couple. Weren't they also partners on the show? Remember how each singer had a partner? Joey/Courntey, Natalie/Vince

I never saw this series, but it looks really interesting. So many names that later has gained world reputation! :)
