This cast was absolute genius. Not just the casting of the Regulators, but the casting of Mr. Murphy (Jack Palance...he is brilliant at being the villain) and John Tunstall (Terence Stamp, a terrific character actor) Loved the story, loved the acting, loved everything about it. The ending - the infamous no-holds barred confrontation as they bolted from the house - is a classic scene, especially when Billy tumbles out of the trunk and starts shooting. The other classic scene was them getting high from the peyote and Billy riding on the horse backwards. I believe I've seen this movie over 100 times.

I totally agree, the cast was awesome. I just love these type of western like movies. I always am a big fan of Tombstone as well, another awesome casting.

Loved this movie, I'm a western nut A great movie with a brillant cast, I like the 2nd one as well. My favorite character in the Young Guns movies is Chavez (Lou Diamond Phillips). This movie has very many funny movie lines.

Emilio Estevez was awesome for Billy The Kid! And I also like Kiefer Sutherland too. I had young guns dvd at 1 time till it got stole So now I just have the 2nd part to it. Got to get the first one again sometime. But I love the first one especially when they get high from peyote That part was awesome.

This is one of my top favorite 80s movies. The historical inaccuracies bug me a little, but I understand it is a movie, therefore will be provided for entertainment purposes. It's 25 years old this year!
