This 1982 comedy is a spoof on soap operas and is directed by Garry Marshall (Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Overboard, Pretty Woman). The movie is about a handful of young new trainees at a major hospital and a number of wacky things going on like - a trainee who can't stand blood; a mafia member dressed as a woman; a doctor hooked on drugs; a hitman who keeps getting himself hurt.

An all star cast includes Michael McKean, Sean Young, Dabney Coleman, Ted McGinley, Harry Dean Stanton, Crystal Bernard, Hector Elizondo, Michael Richards, Billie Bird, Ed Begley, Jr. and Patrick MacNee. A number of soap opera cames too like Susan Lucci among many others. A young Demi Moore also makes a cameo.

It was a fun, silly movie.

This was probably my favorite scene in the movie. It still cracks me up. Watch. It's all in the background with the telephone -

Dr. Stephanie Brody: "A romance at this point would be ludicrous and counterproductive to our studies."

Dr. Simon August: "I guess that....might have sounded a little....stuffy, Stephie."

Dr. Stephanie Brody: "Slightly, Simon."

This wasn't something I would have wanted to watch back then. lol

I'd try it now.
