Kevin and Paul in gym class with their coach kind of reminds me of Adam in gym class with Coach Mellor on "The Goldbergs". Both coaches/gym teachers seem so serious and into gym.

I would wonder if he got ideas from the show, but the show weren't in the same time period.

Not the same time period in the show, but TWY did begin filming and airing in the 80's. You know what I mean?

I do know what you mean.

I know TWY inspired other shows. Freaks & Geeks loved TWY.

Also, Glee go it's inspiration form Freaks & Geeks.

All of them went to the same high school, MicKinley. lol

That is true. Also, I love that scene with them sitting on the rock when they first kiss. Whenever I think of the show, that is usually the first image that comes to mind.

I watched the episode where Karen becomes a hippie. She brings home her new boyfriend, also a hippie, who angers Jack so much with his anti-war comments. No one likes him, but Kevin finds out he is also cheating on Karen.
