Yeah, I'd seen Sixteen Candles in the TV Guide the other week, but totally forgot that it was on.

It saddens me that classic movies like these have been relegated to the crappy late night timeslot. I reckon if they put them on at a decent time, heaps of people would watch 'em.

Re: Time slots... I think you're right. Better time slots would draw in both viewers who had seen the movie and are fans already, whereas new viewers would be drawn in too. Lousy time slots won't generate new viewers and fans in the same amount in my opinion.
