All my Rainbow Brite merch -- doll, pencil set and twink toy.
I wanted to be rainbow brite so bad it hurt.
But then again, I refused to eat green foods for a while when I was young, coz they were green and green was for boys, and so things were a little backed up down stairs... catch my drift... hence the hurt. Too much?

Hi there

My childhood best friend ADORED Rainbow Brite.

I wasn't into dolls much as a kid. I was too much of a tom boy. There are so many things I wish I still had from the 80's.

I own all my records and our old Beta Max VCR inclunding tapes. Of course all my Barbie dolls, legos (my nephew uses them now) and all my children books. And all my school books as well. I can't throw anything away but my parents have a great attic.

They always seem to lose their clothes, don't they? I don't know why it was so hard to keep clothes on dolls!

Wish I still had some of my Beta Max tapes. I saw a Beta Max player at a local electronics store. I'm tempted to get it, so I have it just in case.

I do have some of my stuffed animals from childhood. I still have a musical bear I got for my 2nd birthday.

Haha! I remember ours didn't have a digital read out. You had to press down on the knob and it flipped the numbers (like those old clocks).

I actually still have quite a bit of my stuff from the 80's. All of my Care Bears (I think 8-10), Pound Puppy and Kitty, Cabbage Patch kid (I don't remember her name), Hello Kitty wallet, She-Ra sleeping bag action figures and sword from my halloween costume, cassette tapes, records, and a bunch of other miscellaneous stuffed animals. I think I even still have some of my Lisa Frank stationary sets and stickers. I'm sure there is a lot more but I can't remember. Most of it is still at my mom's house in my old room.

I had to when reading about dolls and clothes. I didn't play much with my Barbies, I undressed them, put them in a box and then they pretty much stayed there.

I had a care bear, but I gave it to my niece...

I'd had it since my 16th birthday.

she loves it, though.

It's amazing to see the difference in the way the new ones (care bears) are made.

My old one is so much more carefully put together, and the fabric is better.

I still have my 4 wheel white boot skates from when I used to frequent the roller skating rink. I could never part with them.

I also have my vinyl record collection still, but nothing to play them on.
