This is a great miniseries. I finally watched all of it last year sometime and it's amazing. The fact that Richard Chamberlain was very good looking didn't hurt things. I see this as the ultimate forbidden love story. It's based on a book too, my best friend got me a copy for Christmas and I can't wait to read it, I just have so much other things to get through first lol.

Oh I agree with Richard Chamberlain being quite a good looker in that movie. I probably wouldnt be able to help having a crush on a priest too.

Yeah, I can totally see why Meggy fell for him.
And just because I'm a trivia fiend--did you know that the guy who played Meggy's husband Luke in this is her hubby in real life? They met on the set and are still together after all this time. That's a lifetime in Hollywood measures. __________________

I'm getting this series through Netflix, I finish the first two parts today, I cannot wait for the last two. I love this story -- I sat in front of my TV for four hours straight, watching this love story un-fold, I couldn't turn it off!
I can tell this will probably be one of my favorites movies. Once I completely finish watching this -- I'll post my thoughts along with, perhaps, some artworks from me. |

I finally finish watching this -- and
There's so many emotions in this movie! These are my favorite part: Credit * * * Luddie Mueller: Well we're just glad you did show up, Your Grace, It's good to know there's someone in the world who cares about the poor girl. Ralph de Bricassart: Thank you. I want to go back into her. [Anne stares after Ralph, as he goes back to Meggie] Anne Mueller: Cares about her, Luddie? If you ask me, he's in love with her. * * * Mary Carson's scene... I'm sure there is more, but that's all I can think of right now. I plan on picking up a copy of the book from the Library. What's everyone thoughts on the movie? |

Fee is Meggie's mother. She was rather cold and stern towards her. Fee said to Father Ralph that she wanted to forget she even had a daughter.
