Texas Chainsaw Massacre Series #5 - "I've got a real good eye for prime meat. Runs in the family."

Thread #5 for the franchise that began in 1974. There was only one entry in the 80's, Part 2, which was released in 1986. A story about Leatherface and his clan of murdering, cannibalizing kin.

Such a good thread.

Alright now, did anyone here see Leatherface?

Melis 10-13-2018 08:34 PM

No, you?

GardenSirens 10-13-2018 08:35 PM

come on, son. I see every horror film. I enjoyed it but I don't know if anyone else here saw it. I know I mentioned it when it came out last year. It's a fun flick but not TCM.

Melis 10-13-2018 08:37 PM

How's it different?

GardenSirens 10-13-2018 08:40 PM

It's a prequel to the prequel or the remake. We see a young Leatherface, we see him incarcerated and then we see him become Leatherface. It's cool for that reason. the story in between is based on love and violence. he's kind of a relatable character and there's a slight twist so you don't know who he is until the end (there are a few people on the loose and we dont know which one is Leather).

Oh, I forgot about that. Well, I'll try it.

Not yet, but I see it on on SyFy Channel's On Demand section for free. I am sure a lot of gore and stuff was trimmed or cut. I am going to watch it.

Oh, I didn't know it was on demand.
