That was totally unexpected news! I couldn't believe it when I first heard it last night. I am glad that this is going to be a direct sequel to T2 and the other films didn't exist. I also think it is so great that women of a certain age are coming back to head or co-head major studio franchises (the other being Jamie Lee Curtis) and to kick butt!

Even though we pretty much already knew it would ignore everything past part 2, it is still nice to get the confirmation from Cameron himself.

I am. The sequels after 2 had some good parts about them but they were all pretty lifeless compared to the first two and I find myself getting bored and disliking them more every time I see them.
